Rose

Profile[]

Rose is the second monster to be part of Takahiro's family, and is a magical puppet type monster. She is serious, honest, straightforward, and very loyal toward her master. Named after the Rose flower.

Appearance[]

When she initially becomes one of Takahiro's servants she looks like a simple wooden doll even lacking in facial features and the ability to talk. Later, she embeds vocal organs in the area around her throat, giving her the ability to communicate with words, as opposed to just using hand gestures. At the urging of Katou she works on making herself look more human with the hope that she can get her master to hug her. Rose covers her wooden body in a material that mimics flesh. She gives herself facial features including purple colored eyes and a mouth that moves when she talks. She also fashions silver hair for herself using fur from a firefang. Gerbera makes a maid outfit for her which she now wears at all times.

Abilities[]

Tool creation - With enough effort Rose can create almost any tool using only wood that she has imbued with magic. Weapons and armor that she creates out of wood will have the look and quality of metal. A masterpiece sword that she created was described as having the properties of Damascus steel. She can even create functioning runestones out of wood. It has been stated that if you look closely at her imitation runestones you can still see the grain of the wood.

Basic Weapon Mastery - Rose can wield with decent skill any basic weapon that she can create. She prefers to fight with battle axe style weapons.

Combat Fireworks - By overloading the mana in a runestone you can increase its attack power significantly but much like a firework it becomes single use. This would normally be prohibitively expensive but because imitation runestones made by rose are created from wood rather than rare ores she only has to consider the time investment and not the material cost when using this method to increase her combat potential.

Dimensional Storage - The pockets of her maid uniform are equipped with storage imitation runestones so she can store a vast array of spare weapons and tools that she has created.

Combat Matryoshka - By embedding storage runestones into her arms and legs she can store extra limbs inside of each other similar to how a matryoshka doll works. When a limb becomes too damage to use she can exchange it for another effectively giving her the ability to heal broken arms and legs instantly. This ability does not extend to her head or torso.

Relationships[]

Takahiro: When Rose was tamed by Takahiro, she became absolutely loyal to him and values his life as a number one priority. She serves as his guardian and defender when needed and his craftsman in her spare time.

Katou: Rose and Katou are extremely close and both consider each other to be their best friend. Besides Takahiro there is no one that Rose or Katou trusts and relies on more than each other.

Lily: Since Lily was the first monster that was tamed by Takahiro, she refers to her as her big sister.

Gerbera: Rose considers Gerbera to be her little sister.
